LITKOVSKAYA: The screen has a frontal and opposite sides. It’s just like lingerie or the opposite side of clothes with all its stiches and consctructive details. I’m captivated by this contrast: beautiful front and hidden internal side. The whole story is inside. In order to understand something different, one need to get behind a screen. That’s where one gets naked, stays alone with oneself and manifests its fleshliness.

SERGEY MAKHNO: We aimed to create not a simple screen, but an object on the edge of conceptual art. Together with its intellectual message, interactive and additional function. I like to surprise people, to give them what they don’t expect to see.

The result of the LITOVSKAYA work is always visually laconic, simple but ambivalent – the collections are based on the counteraction of the polar ideas.
